Globorid is a backlash-free globoidal screw gear reducer, specifically designed to meet the increasing demands of the automation sector: it provides a backlash-free screw-crown coupling, also suitable for high-speed drives. Globorid is particularly suitable for CNC-controlled drives such as robot positioning, mechanical manipulators, machining centre tools and automated warehouses. Its special construction features allow for crowns with a primary radius just slightly smaller than the centre distance and very high yields, thanks to the screw-crown coupling with rolling friction.
Each product is manufactured using standard Sonzogni Camme components in accordance with the specific dimensional and geometric requirements.
