What are mechanical manipulators used for?

Mechanical manipulators are particularly used in automated mechanisms for pick and place of parts or products in many types of industries. They make processing plants more flexible and efficient, offering the possibility of solving even complex problems in the field of handling and movement with precision and reliability.

Features and operating principles

Our mechanical manipulators, developed from Rotoblock units according to the dimensional and geometric requirements of the customer, guarantee fast and precise transfers, constant cycle time, positive positioning and extreme quiet. Furthermore, they allow controlled accelerations, elimination of downtime, and positioning repeatability. All of this, with minimal and cost-effective maintenance.

The most suitable acceleration curves for the rotation or oscillation movement and for the transfer movement are defined during the design phase, as well as the possibility of combining these movements, controlling any interferences in a safe and reliable manner. This allows for the creation of an essentially unlimited number of solutions, guaranteeing smoothness of movement and a reduction of vibrations.

Each phase of the cycle, and therefore all positions of the output shaft, are mechanically controlled according to defined mathematical laws, thus guaranteeing constancy over time and resistance.
