Parablock®

Parallel-axis cam intermittent oscillating mechanical indexer.

Parablock is a parallel axis mechanism that transforms the constant speed rotation of a pair of conjugate cam profiles into an intermittent or oscillating rotation of a probe equipped with two sets of rollers.
These suitably preloaded rollers guarantee perfect control of the probe position both in the movement phase and in the dwell phase.

 

he profile of the cams is designed to provide the best dynamic intermittent or oscillating performance generated by cams rotating at constant speed: this is why it is important that the transmissions in and out of the unit are free of elasticity, backlash and vibrations that wear and overload the mechanism.
Parablock can also be supplied in special versions for special applications.
