Rotoblock S/SS transforms the uniform rotary motion of the input shaft into the intermittent rotary or oscillating motion of the output shaft. This motion transformation is precise, controlled and quiet.
This is achieved through the action of a globoidal cam and a series of contact rollers engaged in the cam. The suitably profiled globoidal cam rotates to generate a controlled movement of the probe: the particular shape of the cam profile determines the movement and stop of the probe, whose law and movement time can assume an infinite number of combinations.
